    Our Bulldogs Afterschool Retaining Knowledge before school, afterschool, and on off days in the Pensar Academy BARK Program!

    Pensar Academy is excited to offer a multitude of classes and services for the 2023-24 school year through our BARK Program.  Totally, 100% grant funded, the BARK Program is a free, highly engaging option for students who are looking for something high quality to do after school or some additional support for their academics. 

    Here is a list of the Fall Lineup:

    • Homework Club.  Need a bit of extra help?  Pensar Academy has got every student's back, offering numerous “Homework Club” options such as:
      • Early Risers Homework Club:  8:00-8:30am Monday-Thursday
      • Friday Tutoring:  9:30-1:30pm  Fridays
    • Afterschool Clubs.  The clubs are offered Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays from 4:00pm-5:30pm.  A list of the school clubs, tutoring, and PBL for the 2023-24 school year will be provided in August of 2023.  Past clubs have included cooking, gaming, music, Legos, painting, and robotics!  Who knows what this next school year will bring?
    • Afterschool Tutoring. Free tutoring is offered on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.  Pensar Academy offers tutoring support through the IReady Program and face to face tutoring for students enrolled in the BARK Program free of charge.

    Interested in singing up?  Enrollment is easy…with many ways to get in touch and enroll your students:

    • BARK Applications are available at the front desk with Mrs. Escareno.
    • BARK Applications are available in the document unit by the exit door under the 8th grade Legacy tiles.  (Your students know where this is.)  Students may self-serve and take home the application.
    • Email francesvazquez@pensaracademy.org and an application can be sent to you.

    Once the application is returned, the BARK Coordinator will reach out to you with updates, offers, and activities.
